PAINTING / FINE ART I have a degree in painting from Michigan State University and have been painting for many years! I usually paint with acrylic paints, and most of my work exhibits a post-impressionist influence.
ILLUSTRATION I have worked as a professional illustrator in the course of my self-employment, and offer a wide variety of illustration services across a range of styles, including, custom illustration, comic book style artwork and children's illustration.
THE SMUDGE Those of you who may have known me in high school will remember that I published and sold my own humorous magazine called The Smudge, featuring comics, artwork and humorous stories. I am currently working to put these back issues online.
I have been playing in bands and recording music for many years, both as a drummer and a keyboard player. Here are some of the bands I have been involved with.
GOD WAFER I am currently performing as Johnny Everwood in the band GOD WAFER, the most outrageous band ever to come from Chicago. The music is a mixture of funk, punk and rock and roll which we call Funk Punkin' Roll Rock.
JUST SAY NO In the early nineties I was the drummer for this heavy punk rock band, which featured former members of The Meatmen,Violent Apathy and The Fix. While in tha band we released four vinyl records and did several cross-country tours.
FOOD CHAIN After Just Say No, I moved to Chicago and played drums for Food Chain a progressive punk rock band. We rented a loft on the South Side and had many huge loft shows and played all over the Midwest.
