This is our new Zoot model. It was reviewed in “Guitarist Mag” and was given the FIVE STAR GUITARIST CHOICE AWARD. It is a semi production/hand made bass. This bass is totally U.K. made at our custom workshop, Witham, Essex. The Zoot Performer Pro is available in both 4 & 5 string versions with a choice of hi-gloss translucent natural and tinted colours including vintage sun burst and modern Aqua burst finishes. There are many scratch plate colours and these are available as customer options, meaning, you get the best colour scratch plate to go with your choice of finish.
Both the 4 & 5 string versions share the same 34” scale neck with a 14 degree angled headstock. The neck is cut from Canadian rock maple and is finished with a rosewood fingerboard featuring medium sized bass frets. The top nut is hand carved from a solid piece of bell brass. The body is cut from top grade (Light Weight) American Swamp Ash. At the Iceni custom shop we take great pride in our basses and only fit top quality products. The bridge is a USA Hipshot, the E.Q is from Aguliar, the pickups are active EMG’s and the machine heads are Gotoh GB70’s. Add to this, that the remainder of the knobs and hardware are chrome plated brass, and you start to realise that this is a “No compromise” bass at an affordable price.
