Brighton Based singer-songwriter Zora originates from south london and emits a soulful, yet gritty folk roots sound, infused with punk-rock undertones exposing her underground roots. Over the years she has been involved in countless alternative festivals (both DIY and commercial), gigs and get togethers and has enthralled the crowd at many notorious venues. Her subject matter reflects a plethora of life experiences that range from heartache to politics to not being able to score!. Her haunting voice, compelling melodies, thought provoking lyrics and robust compositions make this lady really stand out from the crowd.
Currently performing as a 3/4 piece with acoustic bass, mandolin and fiddles. Zora and the band are now working on finishing their first CD together and desperately trying to agree on a name over many a lengthy pint! Look out for them in Brighton and London and all the cool festies they can get into for free by playing their own brand of funky punk-folk to fellow revellers.

Hey Zora, just listened to your tunes and enjoyed every one, it was 7am on a sunday morn and just perfect to smooth me into awake time. Problem was Mary Jane reminded me I was up too early and didn't have to work, so I put one together and listened again. Very cool start to the day, Do you play at open mics?
