Who I'd like to meet:
EVERYONE!
Some bands that have great influence on myself and writing.
I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time yesterday. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a tune called Run Bobby Run:
FREERIDER has a huge announcement coming July 1. If we told ya now, we would have to kill ya!
Let's just say that it involves a major network and a major brand and they do not want anyone blowing their plans.
SO WHAT? HERE'S WHAT: You, our friends, fans, family, followers & fellow FREERIDERs, will choose and have the chance to own a piece of the FREERIDER song that will be featured in our first feature video. This song and video will be released exclusively for sale as part of the aforementioned "big announcement". You have the opportunity to make a song popular and profit from the sales!!
ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS:
Click on the player to join our mailing list and grab a FREE download of your favorite song. The most downloaded song by July 15 is it!
You can Order our Album "LIVING DEMONS" right now on our Page! If you like See You Next Tuesday, I Wrestled a Bear Once or War From a Harlots Mouth than " Living Demons" will blast you!!!! Check the uploaded Songs on our Page and say us what you think about it.
We appreciate that you're doing your own thing and glad that you're our friend!
I wanted to share an insight that I had recently. Blood Root Mother really believe in the power of music. Genuine music transcends all limitations and boundaries, and happens when musicians and listeners are communicating with one another on the deepest level possible. In a society overcome by an obsession with flashy images and stale radio hits, we seek to do something that shakes the foundation of the status quo. Since the dawn of human civilization, music has been about sharing humanity and truly connecting with others. So stay connected with us, and join us on our journey.
Peace, Elliot
The artistic activity does not lie in art itself as such. It penetrates into a deeper world in which all art forms flow together, and in which the harmony of soul and cosmos in the nothing has its outcome in reality. -Bruce Lee
