Everything I listen to mashed up in a blender, served up as a tasty shake. Kind of like the "Grimmace" shake at McDonalds?

"This is a powerful pop triumph combining stylish songwriting, great lyrics, super harmonies, big production, and lots of ear candy. Zoux has all the great pop song masters rolled up in this brlliant disc. Lovers of Elvis Costello, Squeeze, Jellyfish, McCartney, Afghan Whigs, The Who, The Pills, Gigolo Aunts, The Beatles...etc. should absolutely own this disc. I'm so glad i do." - Joel Simches, THE NOISE
"Holy freakin' moses! What an independent album I foundin this hidden treasure. This is a damn good modern powerpop treasure somewhere between Bens Folds Five, Jellyfish, Owsely, Squeeze and The Shazam. Great vocals and a very nice groovy modern powerpop production. Geeeh.... this is DAMN good to be honest. Second out "Why Ask Why" is one helluva tune and the Ben Folds-esque "Nothing So Ordinary" is another great tune for sure. Nahh there are tons more good tunes. In the highest league of indie-albums I've heard in a long time, Yepp - big words, everyone one of 'em is true!" - Par Winberg www.melodic.net
"Anyone who tells you craftsmanship is dead in pop music hasnt been listening to Zoux, whose carefully constructed R&B inspired songs whip up whirlwind of interesting sounds and heartfelt emotions." - David Wildman, THE BOSTON GLOBE
"This lad who honed his keyboard skills at Berklee, has unleashed a big lush, pop disc, a mix of glam-influenced rock and pop that explodes out of the speakers...you have a shimmering display of well-crafted pop tunes, energetic, and full of life." - Bill Ribas STREET BEAT, NYRock
"Zoux lays down a bustling collection of memorable songs that rock with fierce intensity...An astounding effort from a talented guy that I am sure we'll be hearing a lot more from." - METRONOME MAGAZINE

*le sigh* Zoux finally comes back to LA, and it looks fairly certain I can't go. Hope it's not a nother LONG stretch before you guys are out here again....
Finally I found Zoux! I first heard you back in like......97...98? You were playing at the Troubador in Hollywood. You opened up for either LA Symphony or Brother. You were awesome! I bought your (then) demo and listened to it all the time. I followed your site waiting for another west coast performance, but it never happened, and eventually the site went down. But you're back! So.....when are you coming back to our side of the country?!?!
Hey buddy, I'm going to miss the sound of the Hammond.... you should cheer me up by running it through a huge reverb and holding a 9 chord every time I walk through the door =^)
So you're music...is addicting, I can't stop listening to it. Also, you're pretty much gorgeous...so I'm hoping you tour with Aly & AJ again, so I can see your pretty face & amazing guitar skills again ;)
I know it was you that left those tennis balls... Thank you so much. Sunny thought it was xmas! hope your well. we miss you coming around. Can you come over for dinner sometime? I'll cook something special and veggie friendly. love to ya, nettie
