Z-ROCKS was a power-pop duo/trio in the early and mid 80's from Houston, Texas - best known for the hit song "The Teacher's A Punk". Z-ROCKS received major airplay at home and in Southern California (KROQ, KNAC), and radio stations and club DJ play/spins across the USA. Z-ROCKS performed on tour dates with the likes of U2, Duran Duran, Todd Rundgren, Huey Lewis, The Romantics, and many others. Although they only released one album, they had recorded a second (double LP) which was never released. Now the first LP is available on CD at iTunes, cdbaby.com, and other online music sites. All previously unreleased tracks are included as bonus tracks on the new CD - titled, Z-ROCKS - HISTORY Randy Soffar & Guy Schwartz will sing Z-Rocks songs at SOUTH BY DUE EAST 2010 in March 2010.
