ZT Amplifiers, Inc. was formed late in 2007 by a team of highly experienced audio industry professionals. Our first products are small guitar amps that reset the bar for the quality and quantity of sound that can come from a portable package. Tiny and easily carried, a ZT amp is equally comfortable pulling off a live show on its own, or drawing applause from a fussy studio engineer.

ZT is built upon a combination of ingenuity, skill and determination all focused toward one goal: reinventing the guitar amp. That’s a bold idea, we know, but we also think its something that is long overdue. After all, music changes, technology changes, recordings change, audiences change. Our mission in life is to try and give musicians the best amps that today’s technology can offer. We do our best to deliver expressive sonic instruments that fit into real world budgets and evolving lifestyles. It’s about tone, it’s about output, it’s about size … when a product is right, really right, these elements all come together.

OK, so how do we do it? There’s a lot of very advanced technology in each ZT amp, as well as a lot of love. Yes, our signal path, loudspeaker and cabinet are all rather unique on their own. Still, the sound of our amps comes down to one word: Synergy. We take a holistic view of our amplifiers, rather than following the traditional path of optimizing the electronics, cabinet and speaker in isolation. In a ZT amp, the power supply cooperates with the speaker, the preamp cooperates with the output stage, etc, etc. By designing the sub-systems of the amp to work in true harmony the tone, playability, size and sheer output reaches new levels. The bottom line is a new generation of guitar amps that lets you make music in places and in ways you couldn’t have done before.

That’s meaningful innovation. That’s ZT.
