The gym, biking, running, games, cooking, reading/learning, the radio KCRW/ NPR. Since I am from St. Louis I love my Cardinals. I will never tire of this video. I am an avid Viva El Birdos reader. If you love baseball or the Cardinals, you really should visit this site.

When I was younger I listened to hard and classic rock stuff. But nas I have gotten older my tastes have become more eclectic and I listen to just about anything. I love KCRWMusic. Some of my favorite new artists right now are The Brazilian Girls, Inara George and Zero7. I also still love bands like Rush, The Who and The Beatles.
Radio
I grew up in St. Louis listening to KSHE-95, but now I listen to KCRW and NPR. My favorite music shows are The Open Road and The A-Track. My favorite talk show is
This American Life. If you never listened to it, you should start with this one. I also really like Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!.
An odd mix of lots of stuff: Breakfast at Tiffanys, Conan the Barbarian, When Harry met Sally, Rob Roy, and Bella Epoque.
I also am pretty excited about the new Transformers movie coming out this year, which really shouldn't be too surprising since I grew up in the 1980's.

I was born in the midwest and grew up just outside of Saint Louis; I went to college in a small town and when I was done, I went to live on a beach for serval years. I moved to California eight years ago, but honestly I never expected to be here so long. Don't get me wrong, I love LA for the ocean, the mountains, its great restaraunts, terrific nightlife and of course its wonderful and diverse residents. But like all places I have lived it has its ups and downs.
I enjoy going out with friends to bars, clubs or restaraunts but I also really enjoy more mentally and physically stimulating stuff like working out, biking, cooking, a good discussion about the daily news, or playing a game. I also don't mind an evening a home with friends and hanging out with the cat.
Who I'd like to meet: Basically someone who is down to earth, intelligent, and active. Is that you?
