Writing, photography, the arts, all things Hippie (except drugs), reading, the outdoors, computers, mosaics, dancing, time with family, time with friends, drinking bottomless cups of coffee, music, flirting, sex, etc. Oh, and I have an extensive pig collection.
Music
A little bit of this and a little bit of that. I dislike rap, death metal, emo...anything that sounds more like noise than music. I grew up listening to country music so that's definitely a favorite genre. If you know who MOFRO and Galactic are then you've just earned major brownie points with me lol. Loreena McKennitt is my favorite vocalist of all time. Recently, I was turned onto artists such as Beth Orton, Lisa Gerard, and others. Music is a huge part of my life. It's gotten me through a lot of truly hard times including the recent death of my grandfather.
Movies
Favorite genre is Drama. I like some comedies (picky about that). Love historically based movies (especially the Victorian Era). And what girl doesn't like the occasional "sappy" movie? I'm no exception. MyHotComments

I do like to watch tv. Sometimes the mindless entertainment that tv provides is just what my overloaded brain needs at the end of the day.
Current favs.: Heroes, House, The Big Bang Theory, American Idol.
Books
"The Celestine Prophesy" by James Redfield. There are no such things as coincidences.
"What Dreams May Come" by Richard Matheson. Heaven is what you make it.
"Angela's Ashes" and "'Tis" by Frank McCourt. With a little humor and a lot of heart, we can all rise from the ashes.
"The Five People You Meet in Heaven", "Tuesdays With Morrie", and For One More Day by Mitch Albom. You are not alone in the world.
The many classes I've taken with a certain professor have turned me onto plays. The more disturbing the better. And, as she would say, Shakespeare Rocks!
British and Russian literature really strikes my fancy, too.
