Venezuelan born New Yorker. Age 34. Professional graphic designer with over 15 years experience in logo design, branding, illustration & graphic art. Also Producer/Recording Artist., Former front-man of King Chango (Luaka Bop).
Zuzuku a.k.a. Blanquito Man, a.k.a Rayo Blanco, a.k.a Jose Andres Blanco is a Venezuelan-born New Yorker, of many names and many talents. Most well known as leader of his former band King Chango, whose album, "The Return of El Santo" (Luaka Bop) attained gold record status in Venezuela, 2001, as well as his many collaborations with other international recording artists (Celso Pina, Control Machete, Up, Bustle & Out) Blanquito is an unforgettable performer with many fans worldwide. Rayo Blanco is the return of Blanquito Man and his unique style of fun, experimental fusions of musical genres and mash-up sounds.
Agua De Jamaica is a salute and tribute to the influences of Jamaican music in Latin culture, blending dancehall, reggae, ska and dub in a hot and funky fusion adventure combining hard and heavy beats with conscious bi-lingual lyrics into one wicked combination - Agua De Jamaica!
The name Rayo Blanco refers to the fourth ray of white light in "The Seven Rays". THE SEVEN RAYS are the original divine qualities of the Absolute. The Fourth Ray of crystalline white light is the Ray of arts. It is the Ray on which the musicians, sculptors, painters, etc. serve. Creativity is a divine quality. We create withour thoughts, feelings, words and actions. We are not merely creating on the physical plane, but also on the emotional and mental planes. Humans have an inborn 'urge' to create. That is the reason why we are embodied. To fulfill our divine plan by creating our unique pattern in the Seven Spheres.
