Zuzu’s Petals is a group of Burlington based musicians whose threads fate crossed in late 2000. John Dusharm is the idea man, Bill Legge is the lyrics guy, and Cliff Wanner blends it all together. Their music was featured on local radio stations and considered “adult-contemporary with an attitude”. Then, in late October '07, they were asked to perform on "Late Night Saturday", a tv show on the Burlington CBS station. They asked good friends Todd Mulvey and Mark Lurvey to play Drums and Bass respectively. The lineup worked so well together, that as of Dec. '07, ZZP is now a 5 piece band. Writing as a 5 piece is a whole new adventure and the results promise to be exciting. They are currently working on a follow-up to their debut cd “Bloom”.
