A renegade coffee shop worker, a maverick phone salesman, a disgraced public sector employee and a man who delivers dead bodies for medical research. These are the genetically modified acorns from which sprang the four pronged oak of Zwaitec.
Lurking in the hinterland between this world and another, they eke out their survival from a diet of pre-packed pasta salads, energy drinks and chocolate, barely managing to keep their heads above water long enough to craft the three minute pop songs that bring a ray of light into their otherwise subterranean and joyless existence.
Zwaitec have recently recorded some new material with Greg Haver at Modern World studio.
