Interests

  • General

    I love to collect postcards, preferably with stamps and writing on them. So, if you are traveling anywhere please make sure to send me one. I have collected some great ones from Colton. Some are from the early 1900's. I love reading them and seeing the way the writing was back then. People don't write like that nowadays. You could tell they took time with their penmanship. I guess it's my own type of voyeurism LOL.

  • Music

    Van Morrison is my all time favorite! His music lets my mind relax. I love all types of music except for heavy metal...when I was younger It always made me want to fight..ummm,..call me crazy I guess! Good thing I've outgrown that...or maybe that's why no one plays it around me?? Hmmm....On a normal day it's usually some type of alternative music. Weekends can be old soul, country or old rock & roll...depends on the amount of alcohol I think. Once in a while ya gotta hear Elvis and some Sinatra just to clear the palate so to speak.

  • Movies

    I am a great believer in past lives and reincarnation! My favorite movies usually have to do with that or time travel. Deja Vu, Stargate, Contact, K-Pax, Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour, a Classic!

  • Television

    Project Runway is my favorite. I love seeing the way their minds work. Great Chefs is good also, even if I wouldn't be caught dead eating the crap they make! House is another favorite, the guy is such an a-hole, reminds me of my family haha..those sarcastic btchs/bastds...ya know who ya are!

  • Books

    I spent a lot of my life being obsessed with reading. I would read almost a book a day believe it or not. As a kid I used to steal them from the school library. As I got older it kind of got out of control (the reading not the stealing LOL). I would be late to work because I had to finish the book. Sometimes I would only sleep a few hrs because I couldn't find a spot I wanted to stop at. Needless to say, I had to finally get my reading addiction under control. Now it's mostly magazines, newspaper and internet. I have started buying a few books though, I'm just afraid to open them LOL. I know, it's weird but true. Maybe they have a AA type group for addicted readers? =) LifeCrazy

  • Heroes

    I have no heros. I believe everyone should make their own choices in life. So, if yours is f-cked up, then change the damn thing! About me:

Lets see...I've did alot, seen alot, and wasted alot of time on stuff when I was young that in retrospect, I shouldn't have did..but oh well, thats life! So....I left my husband, got divorced and changed my life. Most people can't see any change, I'm still the same on the outside, but my head, heart, and soul, are forever changed and I could never go back to the way I was before. No regrets. You can't change the past anyway so why waste time worrying about it? Hate is also a waste of time and I refuse to let anyone have that kind of strength over me. A girl I used to work with once said what really bugged her about me was my "indifference" towards her. She said that hurt more then me not liking her. I'll always remember that!
