Welcome to K. Paule's ZydecoRoad: Where Long Island Meets La Louisianne. We will continue to promote Louisiana music and it's artists here on Long Island and within the New York metropolitan area, by providing our friends, visitors and subscribers with monthly reviews of new music from Zydeco, Cajun, Swamp-Pop, Jazz, Blues and other artists based in Louisiana and across the world. Who I'd like to meet:
I'm always excited about meeting artists, fans, promoters and other good people out on the road who are into Zydeco, Blues, Cajun and other types of Louisiana music. In addition to writing about Zydeco music, I've had the pleasure of performing with many Louisiana and regional Zydeco artists during their tours to Long Island. As you can see by the photos, I play the rubboard. Most recently, I've come out of a 30 year hiatus from singing and have the unique pleasure of reconnecting with a great blues band out of New York, THE TASH BROTHERS BAND, that perform Louisiana Blues, Zydeco and Southern Rock.
