Zydefunk will give you a taste of what bandleader, Charlie Wooton, experienced musically growing up in Lafayette, Louisiana. Taking you from the Lala in the backwoods to
Mardi Gras in the streets of New Orleans! Wooton developed his unique way of playing bass hanging with musicians from around the world that passed through his hometown and studying with some of the top musicians in New Orleans. He learned the art of putting on a show while touring with Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band...............................................................

Holding down steady gigs in the southeast for the past eight years, Zydefunk has proven to be a consistent and growing draw. The best place to see then is at their home club, Northside Tavern or a festival where the family friendly party can be fully experienced.
