I'm from Maryland, near D.C., now living in east TN. I'm married, hate kids (except Phoebe!!), love cartoons, think tattoos are ugly on most people and have an extensive music collection. I have a job in a field I really enjoy but a boss that makes it hard to enjoy my job. I was really involved in politics pre-Obama but now I don't see the point.
I'm on the fourth book (Sword Song) of Bernard Cornwell's Saxon series and its awesome as fuck. Its what I listen to in place of talk radio while at work...Uthred is my storybook hero.
I'm also 1/3 of the way into David Horowitz' 'Radical Son', which is also a great book so far. Insightful and thought-provoking.
I'm introvertive and easily annoyed. I'm germ-conscious, though not quite to a neurotic level. I avoid most people because I really hate having to pretend that I care.
I play WoW, used to play eq2 until I got burned out on the 6-day-a-week raid schedule. (WoW is easy!!)
I'm learning some Norwegian, and finding its actually pretty similar to German, which makes it easier for me. I hope to get past the generic travel-book sentences soon!

I am leaving for BCT in Georgia in like 3 weeks and some change. Following that I am going to Airborne school. Then I am going for RIP (first part of Army Ranger school), after THAT, I am saying fuck Ohio in the ass with a ping pong paddle. Seriously. After BCT I'm going there for sure. I get a free flight for a week to anywhere I want in the continental US. Zaap.
