Sometimes men & women turn to Jesus when they are completely broken, as a last resort. Sometimes men& women grow up in Christian homes and commit to The Lord at a very young age and never depart from Him. That's another great sign of The Lord's Holy Spirit Power. That He can keep us in His Love.(Proverbs 12:19) (John3:16) (John10:14,27-29). I was one of the completely broken ones. I turned to Jesus out of desperation and despair at the age of 19. I mean you don't get more desperate than physically dying on a hospital bed... The result of my brokenness was caused by nearly a decade of physical and mental self-abuse. I was responsible for giving authority to the devil, who ,in turn, started to destroy my soul and physical body. I called out on the name of Jesus and He saved me spiritually from initially going to Hell. (Romans 10:13). Many years after my spiritual salvation I still suffered from a shattered soul and physical sickness. I still had bad habit's and addictions to alcohol, drugs, porno and horror. I was saved but still a naive believer, to say the lest a struggling Christian with a mashed up mind. I finally had a nervous breakdown and started to have suicidal thought's. I thought if I did myself in then I would be able to escape from the enemies of my mind. I.e. witchcraft and sorcery again I was responsible for giving authority to the devil by the garbage I was allowing into my eye & ear gate. I was at my weakest point trying to drown out evil thoughts with the help of Cognac, Teekilla and narcotics that reached highly toxic levels that should have killed me physically. Hope came and knocked on my door after I fell on my knees and called out once again to my Heavenly Father through the name of Jesus. I was invited to a local fellowship for celebration of The Ressurection. At the time I wanted to fellowship with other believers but was on the brink of insanity and believed I was the only one in the world who was evil.
