Hailing from the Midwest, ZZAJÉ® without a doubt has become one of the most
prolific twelve piece bands of its' kind, not because of their youth but because
of their ingenuous ability to transform music into memorable moments. Not only
is the male populated band all in their early 20's but they are a multicultural
band of extreme talent.
Showcasing a cross section of soul, funk, jazz, hiphop, rock and classical
music, this group of young passionate men have consistently proven that music
has no limitations. As a group, ZZAJÉ® has been together for more than five
years and their musical track record in the industry continues to climb new
heights. Their resume reads like a who’s who of music, their time together has
allowed them to perform with the likes of Roy Ayers, Erykah Badu, Brian
McKnight, Outkast, Khemistry, Amel Larrieux, MC Lyte, and Kindred Family Soul to
name a few. There's no luck associated with ZZAJÉ®’s encounter with musical
legends. Their award winning sound and style keeps the talented group
circulating among the music industry as the premiere band for live performances.
ZZAJÉ® has recently become a household name among performance bands, after their
network premier on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show (ABC), where they were the feature band
backing Rhymefest. Prior to the Jimmie Kimmel Live Show the band appeared with
Oprah on the reality based television show Bridezilla, as the feature band for a
Chicago bride. While they continue to build their career in music, ZZAJÉ®
continues to work with their own peers in the industry while giving back to the
community as teachers to young aspiring musicians.
As ZZAJÉ® continues to flourish, showing passion through each musical note,
illuminating stages across America, they continue to stay steadfast to their
musical dreams of endless possibilities.

FGC’s only Chicago appearance of the summer is coming up on Friday July 17th at the Abbey Pub. This will be an Ages 18+ show with special supporting acts: Lobster Newberg and The Rubblebucket Orchestra. This Hometown Throwdown is a show not to be missed…hope to see you there!!
