Worked for local Newspapers and Magazines with text and 35mm/Digital Photography. I have a Digital and 35mm Photo Gallery on my site @ www.zzipp-creatives.co.uk. There is also a video showcase on the 'Zzipp TV' link on the homepage.
I am developing web based video to aid Promotion of Bands and Artists. The Zzipp & Co. Podcast Show is also looking for Sponsors who will be promoted on the Podcast itself.

Writing and reading humour, nonsense verse, poetry and short stories, 35mm/Digital and video photography. I collect second-hand books and my favourite authors are Leslie Charteris, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Spike Milligan, Ian Fleming, Lewis Carroll, Edgar Allan Poe, Thomas Pynchon, Jack Kerouac and Richard S. Prather.
Favorite Bands/Musicians: Steely Dan, Grateful Dead, ManTran, Tomita, Rick Wakeman.
Favourite movies: 2001: A Space Odyssey, Casablanca, War Of The Worlds, Silent Running, His Girl Friday, Bringing Up Baby, The Producers.
Favorite Song: ..Never Hit your Grandma with a Shovel...It Makes A Bad Impression On Her Mind!!.. by Spike Jones and his City Slickers.
Favorite Comedy: The Goons, Tony Hancock, ITMA, Shelley Berman
Campaigned for Weymouth/Dorchester/Portland Local Radio Station 1991-1993 and I was on the Application Committee of the Ridgeway Radio Group, one of the 4 groups who bid for the Licence.
My Poetry was published in six National Anthologies 1990 -1995.

I was a Judge for the ..Win A Valentine Weekend.. Competition run by the Dorset Evening Echo and Brewers Quay in 1992. Other Judges were: Dave Johnson (Dorset Evening Echo), David Wilkinson ((Group Librarian, Weymouth Library), and Jez Hodesdon (Lecturer/Poet).
I was also one of the Judges at the ..UK UNSIGNED.. Talent Show at the Weymouth Pavilion Ocean Room, Weymouth on 1st June 2003 and 25th January 2004 organised by S.A.B.A., a London based charity that works to promote and develop unsigned performing talent in the UK. [website]
I originated and organised the ..Wessex Kidney Fund/Devenish Brewery Pub Knock Out Quiz.. in 1992. The winners were The Wise Man Pub, West Stafford with The Cutter Pub in Weymouth taking Second Place.
Publicity Officer: Dorchester Arts Centre 1989 -1990. Duties included Publicity/writing Press Releases/Poster Design, ..Get in - Get out.. of visiting Theatre Companies, Venue Set-up, and a wide range of Admin. skills.
Organised and carried out a Charity Parachute Jump from Dunkeswell International Skydiving Centre, Devon, in aid of the MENCAP Charity and Dorchester Arts Centre funds. Letter from HRH Prince Charles in support of the project.
Assisted Weymouth Cine & Video Club in video filming the Military and Veterans Festival Parade June 2000 and Drumhead Service & Veterans Military Festival Parade 2001 productions.
I originated the ..LifeSigns.. Community Music project in 1993 with video donated by the European Space Agency (ESA), The Planetary Society (Pasadena, USA), and letters of support from Brian Cassidy (MEP 1996), Joanna Lumley (Actress), Judith Hann (Television Presenter), Rula Lenska (Actress), Bill Oddie (Comedian), Sir Anthony Hopkins (Actor), Russell Grant (Astrologer and TV Personality), Rolf Harris (Entertainer), Samantha Fox (Model and Actress), Colm Meaney (Actor), Roger Moore (Actor), Ben Elton (Writer), Rowan Atkinson (Actor and Comedian).
I organised and found a Sponsor for the Photographic Exhibition ..Through My Lens.. by Angela Braysher at the Mulberry Gallery, Weymouth Library from Monday 10th May to Saturday 15th May 1999.
Video filmed and packaged two VHS videos for local Band ..Old ..n.. Gold.. at the Island Country Music Club, Portland 4th and 25th March 2000 with custom designed covers.
Got local two piece band ..The Old Codgers.. interviewed on Meridian Television in 1999 after they had only been in existence for three weeks.
Wrote local news and human interest stories for the Dorset Echo (Weymouth) and the Western Gazette (Yeovil) both with 35mm and Digital Press Photography. Associate Member of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) for three years.
I undertook the ..Over The Top.. Absail Event raising funds for the National Charity ..Help The Aged.. at the Dalgety Agricultural Building, Poole on the 12th March 1995.
I also built props/wrote a Comedy Sketch and was Official Photographer for the ..Inspirational Theatre Company.. and their production ..Lets Get This Show On The Road.. during the ..Victory In Europe.. 50th Anniversary Celebrations at the Nothe Fort, Weymouth in May 1995.

Hi Guys - Just a quickie..
