At the moment, life is strange. I drive Patchwork Grace all over the UK & fucking love it, it my reason to live at the moment. After 20 years of watching live bands, i still get goose bumps when going to see another one & it always makes me feel like i am 18 again. In the late 80..s, early 90..s, i used to be a mechanic for British 125cc & 250cc motorcycle racer, Rob Orme, these were some of the best days of my life, whilst i was with him, he won a couple of british 125cc championships, & also won the 125cc race at the "North west 200" road race in Northern Ireland. That was probably the best race in my time as his mechanic, going over there & showing local hero, Robert Dunlop how it should be done. Out of 6 races that day, Rob was the only non Irish winner, the party was so good, that we missed our ferry home, which was 2 days after the race.
