About me:
Check out my writing.
My years total seventeen, although my mind acts as though it belongs to someone of older age. I try to act older than the moment, mature, and wise. I don’t screw around when I drive, or when I do anything for that matter. I’ve stared at my reflection in the river Styx and it scared the living piss out of me. In a situation that could just have easily meant my nonexistence, fate chose to let me live, and my eyes have since been opened in a new way.
My primary pastime is music. Whether it be making, playing, or listening, music consumes my life. To support, nurture, and satiate this passion, I play guitar, piano, drums, and I sing. I love what I do, and what I do is music.
I also enjoy reading and writing, and if the latter of which you can’t tell, you are just ignorant. Poetry is my forte, but I do enjoy writing short stories and trying to start novels. I have recently delved into surrealism, and I just love it. People might think my works are weird, and even "troubled", but I find it beautiful. I also write on non-surreal subjects, but I for the most part infuse deeper meanings and contemporary issues in my stranger symphonies of words. Amongst it all, I try to be as diverse as possible.
Lost. Although I am not a chronic television watcher, every Thursday at nine, I run to the TV and switch it to ABC to drown myself in the deep, sprawling mysteries and occurances of a seemingly desert island where polar bears and the black smoke monster dwell. Hmmm… I find it exciting. I’m also obsessed with it. :)
I plan on joining the Navy after High School. The hope is to get accepted for an NROTC scholarship and become a Naval Aviator (pilot), but if that doesn't work out, I'll simply enlist. Perhaps doing medical stuff.
The last, and by far the most important thing: I am me. Michael is Michael. I decide who I am and what I do, not society, nor do voices from above. I am me.
