Punk rock band Black Eyes & Neckties were formed by guitarist Ryan Cadaver and singer Bradley Horror to play a Halloween party in Bellingham, WA, in 2002, hence the ghoulish pseudonyms. They subsequently added drummer Davey Crypt, bassist the Fist, organist Brenda Grimm, and guitarist Josh Homicide.
Known as BENt to their fans, they attracted a local following that found them voted Best Rock Band by the readers of the local magazine What's Up! four years in a row, 2004-2007. They released their debut album, Stiletto, on New Regard Media on Halloween 2004. In 2006, they signed to Clickpop Records, which released their second album, Apparition!, on Halloween 2007, with a national release following in January 2008. ~ William Ruhlmann
