When it comes to influences Blind Atlas will offer up the proverbial mixed bag, citing everyone from Neil Young, Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones to Calexico, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy and the Grateful Dead. Hailing from Denver [Colorado USA] and disparate points around the UK, the London based Anglo-American band Blind Atlas released their debut album ‘Kodiak Bear’ on the day they recorded their first live session with Bob Harris (BBC Radio 2) on 18th June 2012. The album was produced by The Earlies and has since garnered great online and print reviews including a 7/10 in Classic Rock magazine (August 2012).

Blind Atlas have notched up headline slots at some of the UKs most iconic venues, as well as supporting the likes of The Bees, Blitzen Trapper, Megafaun, The Acorn, Buffalo Tom, Liam Frost and The Features. They have also gained numerous UK radio plays including BBC Radio 2 (Bob Harris), BBC6 music (Cerys Matthews, Tom Robinson, Gideon Coe, Jo Good and Nemone) as well as across Europe and the US
