Whle channeling the guilty pleasure of throwback Brandy, Mariah and Destiny’s Child mixed with new sounds reminiscent of Future, LIZ is a born and raised valley girl by way of Tarzana, CA making ageless pop gold.
She effortlessly adopts modern R&B’s glossiest melodies and subtly infuses the streets to create tasteful post-ratchet lollipop sounds.Out of the gate, her first offering “XTC” on Mad Decent’s Jeffree’s label, is best put as candy painted melodies over trapped out Y2K bubblegum beats. The B-side “Underdogs” follows right behind as a retro futuristic shout out anthem to the unicorn in side of everyone.

For her second Jeffrees release, LIZ follows up with two perfect pop gems in throwback mode. The lead single "Hush" is reminiscent of the glory days of Y2K Pop/R&B, and would have been an essential anthem of every bedroom dance party if it dropped in June 2000. On the B Side “Every Memory,” LIZ takes us on a glossy R&B hot air balloon ride, gently infusing the aesthetic of Mike Will’s hits for Ciara or Kelly Rowland. LIZ once again effortlessly serves us the jams we can’t help but get obsessed about.

“Stop Me Cold” is the new single from Jeffree’s/Mad Decent Y2K Pop Princess LIZ. Having already dropped a number of buzzworthy singles this year, LIZ teams up with the Picard Bro’s and Djemba Djemba on this across the board perfect pop gem. Everything we’ve come to love about LIZ is here: her melodies, writing and soul all rolled up into one of the catchiest songs of the year.

LIZ shatters all barriers with the highly anticipated release of Just Like You EP. Featuring 5 brand new never-before heard tracks and her last two singles “All Them Boys” and “Stop Me Cold,” Just Like You puts LIZ’s originality and talent on display like we’ve never seen it before. She teams up with a diverse group of a-list producers including Lido, C.Z., Mr. Carmack, Djemba Djemba, The Picard Bros., Yung Oji, r.i.c. volta, Swørd, Colta, WEEP and Mike Parvizi to give us 7 unrivaled tracks that pull from R&B, Pop, Bmore Club, UK Garage influences and more. About a year ago, Mad Decent signed its first release with LIZ on Jeffree’s, excited to have the opportunity to showcase her unique approach to songwriting and style to the world. The release of Just Like You marks the enormous moment we’ve all been waiting for.
