my name is 10-22-38 astoria and i'm a photocopier specialty zine! i'm named after the very first photocopy, which said '10-22-38 astoria', and was made by chester carlson way back in 1938. that's pretty amazing!
originally, i was made for an aut university (double the university, i know) assignment called the art of creative rebellion' way back in june 2007. alas only 50 copies were made, and they quickly found themselves nice new homes. fortunately however, febuary 2008 saw the conception of a second edition, packed with even more photocopier goodness for you to feast your pretty little eyes on. yay!
10-22-38 astoria second edition features:
copy copy cha cha
'best of' internet photocopier videos
office copier assisted suicide
'your face'
'photocopy' epose
confessions of a photocopier repairman
unhealthy attchments to the mighty office machine?
plus much, much more
Who I'd like to meet: fellow photocopy enthusiasts, zine geeks, and good chums alike. i like friendly people!
to find out how to get your hands on your very own copy, check out the 'take me home' section on the left.
hope to hear from you soon! xx much love, 10-22-38 astoria.
haha. well some zines accept peoples art and then just print out copies and stick hem in their zines. to be honest i dont knwo too too much about it. i dont have a zine or anything ive just submitted work for some.

Babes! Babes! Babes! We all know this Cat from his melodic outrageous soulful humming at the Kroad Lim Chour supermarket. And now that great mystic unveils what's really going on that head, with his favourite tunes. Particularly the ones heard in the avocado section. And yes they're in season!

I took your advice and I am sort of turning around things hopefully for the summer. I have a new short called OMG Squirrel. a little short tale heh and lately I've been working on some online illustrations I have on my blog with stuff. I'm also working on an animation/stop motion movie (acutally two of them) hopefully will be out soon and I can kind of put them on DVDs to hand out with my cartoons to do right now.
Lots to do and i need to make a website for most of my major work/animations so I am working on that also. So lots to do since I am learning in school new things. I dont know where WTF will go and stuff but it maybe mostly films it may switch to but yea lol
