11:11 Theatre Company was created in the Spring of 2000 by a group of theatre students with a desire to create innovative and challenging new plays and bring them to audiences who had forgotten or never realized
they loved theatre. From their first production, Saying Everything, the
group's focus has been on making plays that are vulnerable, that speak
in truth, that revel in and ache for beauty, that make the world a
smaller place.
Over the past 6 years 11:11 has brought some 20 premiere productions to the stage, with actors and designers from all over the country. After producing several Summerstock
seasons in Columbus, Ohio where the company was originally based, 11:11 permanently relocated to Boston in 2003. It's first production here, All My Upside Down Roses, was an intense drama that played to sold out crowds
and rave reviews.
Since then, 11:11 has presented 8 productions so
far and has just announced a proper "season" which will showcase 5
