Hey! We are Thomas, Stefan, Reinout and Evelyn: 2 guitar players, saxophone/flute player/singer and just singer. Our passion: music of course... .. How did it all start? Thomas and Stefan became friends, and regularly "jammed" together :-) They recorded a song, and Evelyn listened to it. Thomas was already a friend of Evelyn too and they had played together several times... Evelyn asked if she could do something with the "Little Song in D", and it turned out to become "Coming Back". .. After a few months we finally recorded a first version of the song. That’s when we decided to take our band seriously and made concrete plans for the future. Again, a couple of months passed by until Evelyn told us about a song festival between several faculties of the University of Leuven. So it was about time to rehearse frequently and to explore our musical capabilities. During the preparations for that contest Thomas thought about an extra band member. Reinout was immediately very enthusiastic and so were we! .. Indian Summer seemed to be a nice name for our band (also a song by Ozark Henry). .. So here we are now. We went to the final of the “IFS”, playing in “Het Depot” was an unforgettable experience! .. Now we’re ready to make new songs and record some. Also a few gigs are awaiting us in the future. .. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- .. Hey! Wij zijn Thomas, Stefan, Reinout en Evelyn: 2 gitaristen, saxofonist/fluitist/zanger en zangeres. Onze passie: muziek natuurlijk… .. Hoe begon het allemaal? Stefan en Thomas waren vrienden en “jamden” regelmatig samen :-) Ze namen een liedje op, waar Evelyn naar luisterde. Thomas en Evelyn waren ook al bevriend en hadden al een paar keer samen gespeeld… Evelyn vroeg of ze iets mocht doen met “Litte Song in D” en het resultaat werd “Coming Back”. .. Een paar maanden later namen we de eerste versie van dat nummer op. Toen beslisten we om echt een band te starten en concrete plannen te maken naar de toekomst toe. Alweer een paar maanden later vertelde Evelyn over een wedstrijd tussen de verschillende studentenkringen in Leuven, het Interfacultair Songfestival. Dus het werd tijd om regelmatiger te repeteren en onze muzikale capaciteiten te ontdekken. Tijdens de voorbereidingen voor die wedstrijd dacht Thomas aan een extra bandlid. Reinout was meteen enthousiast en wij ook! .. Indian Summer leek ons een mooie naam voor onze band (en het is ook een prachtig nummer van Ozark Henry). .. Dus… hier zijn we dan. We zijn naar de finale gegaan van het “IFS”. Spelen in Het Depot was een onvergetelijke ervaring! .. Nu zijn we klaar om nieuwe nummers te maken en er wat van op te nemen. Ook qua optredens zitten we waarschijnlijk niet stil. .. .. .. .. .. ..
