I grew up in New York City: Harlem.

And from my environment I was able to create works that reflected what I saw and felt. Also from my surroundings I was able to express and continue in the arts because of all the energy that I got from living here.

My parents are great supporters in my goal in life, not to mention my brothers and sister: Tomas, Jorge and my sister Margarita. And also the Big WEZ* has been supportive as well since we met.

From Graffitti to abstract thought that I placed in my paintings / drawings; and from the martial arts and military training I participated in, I then used all of its influences and try to capture it and share them with you all here. I really hope you all enjoy them as much as I do, ~Marthalicia M.
