202.project. 202project is the one man band of JP Marsal since 1996. JP started music in 1993 in the city of Lyon in France close to the Noise rock scene of the 90's (deity Guns Condense, De ku Dilarth) He was one of those kids who starts a band without ever having touched an instrument.. He quicky moved to saint-etienne to study art and found in this town the opportunities to experiment much more than in Lyon at that time. he started music, painting and short film productions ..after a while he chose music as his major way of expression.. Influenced by the rock noisy scene of the 90's but also OG Blues, shamanique ceremony, african root's music, NYC minimal scene of the 60's, electronique and Krautrock ..he quikly started bands and projects, playing the guitar but also keyboard and drums..... he has been working with a computer since 2004...he was also a part of all these following projects back in the day: The Insiders
viva geneva and some other ways to much Crev to talking about ...he developed his own language mixing blues, electronic and experimentations in every directions but at the same time went in the same way. a wall of sound. The first 202project LP was out on Tool Box records in 2003, In 2005 he joined the tean briefcaserockers (L.A.) then he gave them something like 6 records that U may see or not because he leave the team in early 2009.. at this time JP has produced more than 250 songs including solo records, bands and collabs ..202project is still his main project but you will probably see him in a lot of other one.
