There is no connection between Roots Hip Hop and roots reggae or any other presentation for that matter. every other genre of presentation advocates empowerment of some kind or another. Roots Hip Hop advocates 'mind over matter', clear thinking as opposed to impulse of action, wisdom as opposed to power. Roots Hip hop is advocating the wisening of bantu and all of the dominions thereof affected by the affiliation of bantu.
Also, if roots is to imply the deepestparts of regions, then also it must be understood that reggae is not born of the deepest regions but is an illustration of the potential from the deepest regions, wherby all else is already considered and catered for even within Roots Hip Hops depth of region.
