The band formed in July,They started playing shows in Okinawa, both in local clubs and on U.S. military bases.
>2004
Starting in Okinawa, the band toured with the GARLIC BOYS, playing shows all around Japan and culminated a sold out show in the Shibuya ChelseaHotel in Tokyo.
All 1000 copies of their first demo sold out during this tour.
>2005
The band was featured in 2 compilations- [MABUI] on CrownRecords and [TOTAL STEEL OKINAWA] on 413Records-and headlined a festival on Kadena Air Base, the biggest U.S. military facility in Okinawa.
As their popularity grew in Okinawa they decided to expand by playing everywhere they could to include hardcore, punk, and metal events. The year ended with an 8 show winter tour of the Tokyo and Osaka regions of mainland Japan.
>2006
They pass through a member change. However they still appeared for a main event in Okinawa.
The band started preparing material for their first album while continuing to play shows.
>2007
Playing the MAGMA one day HardcoreFestival in Okinawa, the band shared the stage with NewYork legends HARLEY'S WAR (featuring Harley Flanagan of Cro Mags fame), MADBALL, The Bouncing Souls, H2O, UNDERDOG and Murphy's Law and new friendships were born.
In July, production of first album in Studio.. in Saitama. After 2side1BRAIN recorded the album they went on tour to ALL of JAPAN.
In November, the first album of 2side1BRAIN was released in Okinawa.
2side1BRAIN CD was ranked at second place in the sales of 2007 with TOWER RECORDS of Okinawa.
After the CD was released, The tour was played with GARLIC BOYS and ONEPERCENTRES.
They toured all over Okinawa and performed for many Okinawans and Americans.
>2008
1st place is acquired by the EMO/SCREAMO ranking of MySpace JAPAN.
In March, they toured the three major cities of Taiwan, played and was the main event for all three shows. During this time many Taiwan bands were brought to play and another Japanese band toured Taiwan also. They finished the tour at "The Wall" with a Taiwan band called "The Hindsight".
In April, They headlined the event ROCKREALIZE08 that was held in Naha Okinawa with FAKEKINGZ and ROACH. All tickets were sold.
In August the band once again took to the stage with fellow Okinawan rock bands. Grasy, Fake Kingz, and Roach
About the end of summer Universal Records selected 2side1BRAIN for Metalica's tribute album called "METAL-IKKA", they covered the song "ST. Anger"
In October they once again united with thier brother bands from Taiwan called "M837", and "The Hindsight". They played at a event called "Rocks Point" in Okinawa.
>2009
New years hits and to start off 2009 they play one of the most memorable shows ever, as this was the last show for a venue called "Parady"(Venue that 2side1BRAIN grew up to for years!).
2009's Spring came and went, but with that was the tour "Singing Like Flood 09". This tour went more world-wide with 35 shows total to include 3 Taiwan shows, and 5 American shows(first time to United States, they played L.A., 2x UT, CO, and "SXSW" TX). The other 27 shows were spread all through out Japan with the final show "One Man Live" held in Okinawa.
