**k was founded in 2005 by Mark Wagner from London and Paris. With a a recording policy of using all 'real' and analog instruments with no edits and few overdubs and a live ethic of creating everything, on the spot, from scratch in a live set that's completely improvised, playing all the instruments and physically bashing out beats while layering different elements together at a mesmerizing pace, weaving in and out of songs seamlessly and often remixing them or drifting into complete ad hoc sonic mayhem. **k delivers an anything goes philosophy that references an array of styles from early electronica, drone, doom, techno and folk and psychedelic music.
