360 Annie started when bassist Michael Zubay connected with singer/guitarist Stacy Collins. At the time, Stacy was living in a dumpster writing songs with a guitar made out of old cans and garrote wire
After a few months of rehearsing, writing and gigging with guitarist Mike "Fig" Newton, tragedy struck! Fig was diagnosed with a severe case of leprosy and we needed a new guitarist. Thanks to Fig, we were lucky enough to stumble upon guitar phenom Mr. Strings. Herman (Hic-cup) Strings literally dropped out of the sky on Fig’s head as Fig was bending down to pick up a finger that had fallen off...leprosy, remember? But then sadly for Mr. Strings, Hic-cup ricocheted off Fig’s head and landed right into the neck of a giant whiskey bottle, hic-cupped and he hasn’t been seen since.
Then, out of the fog, came a couple mo guitar players. We must admit that they created stuff in their heads which wound up making them dead! And we are much better off instead (showing off our rhyming skills .... head ... dead ... instead .... never mind).
Our philosophy and goal is to play great original music and make people happy. In fact, we demand that people be happy. If people aren’t happy at one of our shows, we kill them. That way, next time, they will be happy. 360Annie ... Always teaching.
