About me:
I am a Canadian writer. I've had a few flash fiction stories of the horror genre published recently on a couple small e-zines, but am otherwise unpublished. Amid my ragtag pile of assorted works in progress I've chosen one novel to concentrate on completing. I've surpassed my 100,000 word goal and am hoping the story will soon find its way to the road to a conclusion. It is a fantasy story with threads of the macabre winding its way through the twisted web treachery and trickery of this world full of secrets, deceits, and hidden agendas. Movies
I enjoy movies like Lord of the Rings, movies with intriguing effects, and thrillers. Unfortunately if they are not well done, they are sorely disappointing; and thriller movies tend to be even more blandly predictable than thriller novels.Television
I wonder what the big execs were smoking when they came up with the new programming schedule brought in by the networks of running half seasons or less in an effort to cram as few episodes of as many shows into a year as they can. It makes it impossible to keep up with what is happening in a show and when, if at all, it is playing. On the bright side, our television is taking a long and well-deserved holiday.Books
I enjoy reading a variety of genres. I tend to prefer reading books running on the darker side of fiction, but find most thriller books to be too predictable.
