El Centro de la Raza is a civil and human rights organization that has a rich history of service to the community. We currently have 24 programs and have been around for over 36 years.
We are the voice and hub for the Latino community, we provide comprehensive services to those in need and we believe that children are our most valuable resource.
El Centro’s philosophy centers around empowering community members to advocate for positive social change as a community service in and of itself.
Some of our services within the 24 programs we provide are:
-Bilingual/multicultural child development center
-After school program that focuses on history and the arts
-Homeless services (food, housing, employment)
-Homeownership counseling and workshops
