About me:
Since 2005, Dutch comic-illustrator/designer Maarten Janssens has rediscovered the world of paper kits. His lifelong fascination with pictures, characters and paper-material came together in what soon became his project-of-love 3EyedBear. It still took two years before the project aired due to work and lack of direction, but in 07, Maarten launched his website which immidiately became very succesful.
The work still gets in the way, so the project is evening-, night- and weekendfueled but the direction appeared quite simple: the it's wrapped around the concept not only to create a basic and accessible awareness and little community for those who like papercraft, but mainly as an experiment to prove the philosophy that simple 3-dimensional ideas can travel as paperkits all around the world without cultural or natural boundaries. Because they translate easily into bits and bytes, you only need a computer, a printer, some scissors and glue to get started.

in this beautiful place this place i call my own paradise.......
there the colors and tears mingle freely
everything flows in a speudoecho of what it truly is and freedom just is not what it seems to be
for those lost souls trapped in some sort of hell to be freed from despair loneliness limitation fear and pain as if i were houdini all over again when i can save everyone but myself
why is this feeling so pungent and strong within these orange walls
a place of solitude to reflect and meditate when i all i do is run away
as if some plague of loneliness would overtake my soul with the same despair i felt then
my mom the only one that has felt it with me too i neglect as if she were not here
i need to wake from this dream from this fantasy of fallasies to kid myself again because i want to find bliss is no excuse for me to lose sight of reality
reality so sweet so tangible so true yet behind some mirror ocean so true and blue
i am repeating some mission to encapture what i lost as a child when maybe i should just let go
let go to fly within the kite the cloud soar beneath the moon and stars and sun
but then to what avail am i if i lost sight of the most important mission on this earth to love
why am i really here what sort of fantasy or wonderful parallel can i create when i cannot find contentment within myself? ~MS~*
