3 Legged Rabbit was formed in the spring of 2007 as a merger of 2 former bands: Ichabod Crane and Zyris. Five musicians with a common goal: play music that influenced us in our trades, dazzle our audiences, and have fun. The original lineup included lead singer Tommy Raggs, guitar player Johny Dey, keyboard player Sue Miller, bassist Paulie Krason and drummer Roman Dino and the newly formed quintet was asked to perform on "LUSH - A Tribute to John Rutsey Era Rush". In early July, they cut the opening track "Finding My Way" for the Main Man Records compilation. For details, check out http://www.mainmanrecords.com/lush.html. Dey resigned his position and the axe was handed over to veteran Zyris guitarist Gary Roz. Gary went on to pursue other endevours and we are now very proud to introduce Jimmy Direnzo as our lead guitarist. Jimmy is a familiar face to us as we have a history playing together already.
Band History: Tommy Raggs (lead vox) was the frontman for Ichabod Crane. Jimmy Direnzo (lead guitar) was the amazing guitarist for Ichabod Crane as well as other various bands. Sue Miller (keyboards, background vox) has performed with Ichabod Crane, Big Machine, Triple X and Rock Kandy among many others, and recently, was called upon to fill in for Slippery When Wet. John Amato (bass guitar) has played with Monster and Brotherman as well as other projects.
