Steve Moise lead guitarist and founder of the Hendrix tribute band 3rd Stone has been in the Midwest music scene for a while. Steve,originallly born in Tallahassee,Florida, moved to Cleveland,Ohio when he was four years old. At the age of eight, he heard Jimi Hendrixs " Star Spangled Banner" and caught the Hendrix bug every since. Steve is self taught and also fell under the Womb of the Funk around the age of 15. Steve has performed with such artist such as members of P Funk,Mike P 's Smoke band;Larry Blackmon and Cameo, George Johnson,Ray Parker Jr;Adina Howard,Vincent and Reggie Calloway, Buddy Miles,and many other R+B artist. Steve also performed recently with Original Funkadelic bass player Billy Bass Nelson and Band of Gypsies bass player Billy Cox. But more than anything, Steve and 3rd Stone continues to keep the flame of Hendrix continuing for many years to come. Check them out at a hall or club near you.
