My gratitude for the people who believed in me as an aritist (e.g. Lars Ratz, Michael Ehre, Henning Basse and all others who helped me for my albums and for my days in Fairy Mirror) is beyond expression. I deeply appreciate listeners who believed in me as well. Still, I cannot continue my career when my cds don't sell. I must establish my financial basis on a job besides music, and then, probably on a small scale, I resume singing one day (I prefer to stay independent).
To find a work to earn enough, also allowing myself some flexibility for my music, I concluded to obtain a Master’s degree at foreign university. Now I’m struggling with books and papers at University in the Netherlands; well, it is really tough for me.
To obtain a degree in the summer 2009, I must concentrate on my study for a while, living in a totally different world from music. Yes, totally different! Here, no one believes that I, with middle-length hair now, sang in Heavy Metal bands unless I mention it. Although I enjoy this new world and encounter with new people, sometimes I feel like remembering my link, still existing, with music. This is how I opened this myspace.
So, you will probably find nothing new on this page with regard to my music for a while, but I am still walking step by step to get over obstacles, to the light. I haven’t forgotten music. I will sing someday and somehow. Till then, please re-member me and stay my friends.

1995年にEvolutionを結成、1997年にInsania、1999年にFairy Mirrorと改名。自主制作で作品を出しながらライブ活動を行い、コンピレーション・アルバムにも参加する。しかし音楽活動等が要因となって鬱病を発症し、2001年4月にバンドを脱退する。 完治したのち、2002年7月に単身ドイツへ渡る。2002年末にメタリウムのベーシスト、ラーズ・ラッツに誘われ、テストを受けた結果、翌2003年1月に現地レーベル・アルマゲドン・ミュージックとプロダクション契約を交わした。 二人とマルケル・エーレ（メタリウム）、ハーマン・フランク（アクセプト）、スヴェン・リュッケ（モブ・ルールズ）、井上真理子（Fairy Mirror）らが参加して、初めてのソロ・アルバム『Above Heaven, Below Heaven』が完成。ヨーロッパでは2004年8月23日、日本盤はキングレコードより同年10月6日に発売された。続いてツアーを行い、ヴァッケン・オープン・エアなどフェスティバルのステージにも立った。 続くアルバム『Life』は2006年3月から4月にかけて世界（ヨーロッパ、日本、北米、南米）で発売された。SAEKO自身は発売と同時に日本へ帰国し、音楽活動を停止している。 音楽活動以外では、2005年2月から2006年4月まで日本のCDチェーン店すみやの月刊フリーペーパー『METAL ON METAL』に連載コラムを持ち、コラムニストとして活躍した。現在もムーザ文化交流協会発行の季刊誌『We love 遊』にエッセイを連載している。
