Voilà un groupe aux influences rock
et pop british, bercé par les Beatles et aussi bien influencé
par des groupes plus récents tels que les Libertines, les Strokes,
Razorlight, Arctic Monkeys et beaucoup d'autres personnages de la scène
British... Un savant mélange de rock garage et de belles mélodies
pour le plus grand bonheur de nos oreilles!
La formation originale de Fiddle remonte à l'amitié collégiale
entre Vincent Lemaître et Edwin Noël. Après plusieurs expériences
dans divers groupes d'ados en tant que guitariste et bassiste, ils décident
de se réunir. Edwin troquera sa basse contre une Gibson et Vincent
apprendra petit à petit les subtilités du chant.Ils seront ensuite
rejoints par Olivier Schuwer (Batterie) et Arnaud Legrand (Basse). Nous sommes
en 2006, Fiddle est né.
Petit à petit le groupe commence à tourner dans la région
de Vernon, mêlant reprises et premières compositions. Il décrochent
alors l'opportunité d'enregistrer leur EP : First Rip-Off.
En 2007, cet EP aura l'effet d'un boulet de canon pour le groupe, le faisant
connaître sur le net et dans les bars et salles de la région.
Ainsi le groupe rentre en studio et commence l'enregistrement de son album autoproduit.
cependant c'est à ce moment que viendra le départ d'Olivier,
remplacé par Benoît Malot, qui apportera une touche plus dynamique
et technique au son du groupe.
Et c’est partit, 1er Février 2008 !!! Sortie du 1er album « BritFrench Culture » !!!
Armé de ce dernier, le groupe se lance donc à l’assaut des radios et concerts dans toute la France! Mais c'est à ce moment là aussi que Ben, le batteur, décidera d'arrêter le groupe afin de pouvoir passer ses concours...
Après avoir joué pendant 2 mois en formation acoustique afin d'assurer les concerts, le groupe retrouve un nouveau batteur :
Enguerran, ex chanteur/guitariste du groupe "TOX" d'Evreux, qui l'accompagnerons pour la suite des aventures. Si vous avez l’occasion de croiser prêt de chez vous ces 4 jeunes talentueux musiciens, n’attendez pas, car ils valent vraiment le détour…
The original formation of Fiddle raises to the collective friendship between Vincent Lemaître and Edwin Noël. After several experiments in diverse groups as guitarist and bass player, they decide to bring together. Little by little the group begins to turn in Vernon's region, mixing covers and first compositions. They picked up then the opportunity to record their EP: First Rip-Off.
In 2007, this EP will have the effect of a cannonball for the group, making it known on the web and in bars and theatres of the region.
So the group go in studio and begins the recording of its autoproduced album. However it is at this moment when will come Olivier's departure, replaced by Benoît Malot, who will bring a more dynamic and technical touch to the sound of the group.
And it is left, in February 1st, 2008!!! The 1st album " BritFrench Culture " is out!!! Armed with this last one, the group thus dashes in the assault of radios and concerts in all France!
But it is at this moment there also that Ben, the drummer, decides to leave the group to be able to pass his exams...
Having played during 2 months in acoustic formation to assure concerts, the group finds a new drummer: Enguerran, ex singer / guitarist of the group " TOX " from Evreux, who shall join them for their next adventures.
