Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Kim and I'm a survivor, recovering addict of almost 10 years of cocaine abuse and also an advocate. For the past 8 years of my life I've dedicated my time to help others by educating the community, sharing my story and advocating those who are still lost in their journey of survival. Due to lack of funding, my non-profit MASIE (Minorities & Survivors Improving Empowerment) website has been down, but those who are still apart of this specific cause, we are still moving, with or without the website. It is an unfortunate but very real fact that predators exist and their prey are the innocent children of the world, who are trapped behind a wall of silence. Those innocents need you to be their voice, to break that silence!! As ever, it is the musicians who come to the aid of the helpless and try to change the world... I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D

I am truly blessed with the gift of your friendship. I'm very sorry that I haven't been in touch like I should have lately. With all that has been going on with Winston I have not gotten too many chances to be online. The weeks have really gone by fast. I praise God so much that Winston is improving and is almost back to 100%. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon. Thank you for understanding and continuing to be my friend.
