Initially formed by Con and Dan in May of '06 by a random lunch table encounter at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, it took almost six months for these two buffoons to follow up and actually make good on their promise to jam. Staring around Sept '06, Con and Dan regrouped and finally had their first jam.
Within a few weeks of the commencement of the jamming, Con's good friend and past east coast bandmate, Dez, had quit his job in Seattle and moved on down to the Bay Area for a new day gig. Expressing his desire to join in on the tomfoolery, he took on the roll of lead singer, and soon the 3 were writing original songs about old Star Trek and slitting wrists at a fever pitch. The search for a bass player was on!
Enter Ben! What's this?? A guitar player who wanted to play bass!?! Con, immediately and without hesitation, offered Ben the spot at work one day. Cemented after their first full-fledged jam in Oct '06, the Bits have been honing their sound ever since.
