Chasing Stacey are a fun loving four-piece punk rock band from Hertfordshire UK.
The Band started life back in 2004, Adam and Kevin having played in a previous band together, started writing songs at each others houses. After messing around for the summer they ending up gaining a drummer Kenny Ellis ( Kev’s cousin) and practised cover songs and their own materiel in Adam’s garage.
Having practised a lot they got their first gig at the All Saints Art Centre in February 2005 under the name Third Time Lucky which was a success!
They then played a following show in April at the same venue which went equally as well.
After that Adam, Kevin and Kenny practised a bit more but decided to take a break and went there separate ways.
Around December time in 2005 Kevin decided to see what Adam was up to and wondered if he would be interested in a practise in the new year.
They met up at Hertswood school along with 2 new members Michael and Liam in January 2006 and practised up and recorded there first few demo tracks up until May, where they played their first ever show with the new line up.
Since then the quartet have played numerous amounts of shows, written well over an albums worth of songs, recorded there first demo which was released in early January 2007 and recorded there first EP “Their Coming To Look At Your Boobies!”, and released it in November 2007.
2008 saw C.S do countless amounts of shows boosting their following and adding to their fanbase but, after much delibaration in December Kev decided to leave as he did not feel his heart was left in what him and Adam had started years before. Leaving just 3 members Adam, Michael and Liam they set about writing and recording new material for the coming year of 2009!
After feeling that not all was complete without Kev and feeling that things may have just simply run there course, on the 27th of January 2009 Adam, Michael and Liam decided to call it a day and remember the good times rather than the bad.
On the 14th of Febuary 2009 (Valentines Day) Chasing Stacey will play there last show at The Pioneer in St Albans please come down and show your support one last time for our craptacular band!
Thank you to everyone who has had so form of involvement with us over the past few years, its been a giggle that we will remember and thank you to every single person who came to a show and showed there support you were to best!
For now but not forever thank you and goodbye!
