Brought to you by 93.9 The River…Its About the Music!
93.9 The River: It's about the music.
Finally, the Motor City has a station where the music matters. Our mission is to introduce listeners to world class rock. New artists that stand a chance...and great artists that stand the test of time.
You'll hear amazing songs from 5 decades of music: 60's,70's,80's,90's and now.
Our DJs love music as much as you do - so you can expect to hear us talk less....and rock more.

I have to get this off my chest! Why did you guys leave me for that period of a few years. I was hooked around like, 1998 or so, the BAM, GONE. The River was gone and I was miserable for a years. Then one day, surfing through the terrible radio stations, I heard "93.9, The River...and I was glorified and have been listening ever since! Thank you SO much for being one of the only stations who cares enough to play good music. It is all about the priorities...
Thanks for the add! I am in love with your station. A friend introduced me to it a few months ago and now it is always on. I listen to you at work and in the car. I also make my husband turn it on when we are in his car. He is also becoming fan. You are one of the few stations that plays DMB and he loves that. We are big fans!
