9's a Pair began in our firehouse when we discovered after months of working together that we had everything we needed to form a group. A simple jam session got us going and it has turned into a performing band. The band includes Ron Weber on lead guitar and vocals. Reef Abbott on bass and vocals. Reef also played in a band called Mista Bone based out of Estes Park Co.. Paul Kaaren on drums. Paul is the only non-firefighter, Paul and Ron used to be in touring bands Basteel and Gypsy in thier younger days. Rick Montrose is our newest member to the band we had to talk him into singing with the band but we think he is glad he's in. For those of you who have heard of Gamma and Montrose, yes that is Ricks older brother. The last member of the band Dan Oliver on guitar.
