Greetings from the UK Mr Bondy! I clearly remember seeing you supporting The Foo Fighters with your old band, Verbena, at the London Brixton Academy way back in 1997 when I was just 17 years old! I also remember that some wankers in the audience were really giving you a hard time and that pissed me off as I thought you played an excellent set. Following the gig I managed to get hold of the brilliant 'Souls For Sale' which I still listen to from time to time and with which I managed to turn a few more people onto Verbena. Much time has passed since then and I managed to lose track of Verbena probably due to a lack of support from the UK music industry as well as a lack of coverage in the music press. Sooooo.... imagine my surprise and excitment when I stumbled upon this MySpace page recently! All I can say is that i'm blown away by the songs displayed here and that you have developed so much as an artist. I wish you the very best and hope that you keep it up as i'd really love to see you live one day. Any plans to tour the UK in the future?
If you could, please spare a moment to enjoy the newest work from Oakland-based musician Dave Smallen. His new album titled 'Everything Changes and Nothing Changes' will be available everywhere on December 1st.
