Then we changed it again, and then we changed it again..we are in the process of writing some new shit...The shit has been written. It will be a 7" entitled "The Final Fucking Straw". It's a split release by HALO OF FLIES RECORDS and SEVERED HEAD RECORDS Check these dudes out!!!! We've been writing more stuff for an album of some format which we plan to record somewhere and release somehow this year(08). I need to get something off my chest. I did a quick google search on this band and everyone and there mother were calling this grindcore. I know, I know, music genres suck-but this ain't grindcore. It's heavy! It sounds huge! It's fast! But really it's crusty hardcore tht reminds me of Tragedy without the frills(like cheesy piano intros) and with fewer octaves on guitar. Grindcore? Napalm Death, Misery Index, or Assuck it is not. The thing is, that's not a put down, I like this 7" a good bit and it's not the band's fault reviewers say what they want to say instead of what they hear in order to sell the 7". Heavy as bricks and thrashy at times(though not metal thrash) with vocals you can't understand. Good Stuff. the final fucking straw EP
this one starts off with a really heavy, epic riff that reminded me a bit ACME and then explodes into some fierce, crust influenced grind. tons of changes in each song with plenty of blast beats and death metal styled one-liners. there are some cool breakdowns that keep everything interesting and the recording is thick as fuck. they manage to mix it up enough to keep it interesting and avoid slipping into the pit of mediocrity that so many of todays grind bands fall into.
