Anything with flowers -- flower arranging, mostly, since I'm a florist. Also solving mysteries, which I'm pretty good at. Just ask anyone at Bloomers (my flower shop). And I love driving my car -- a reconditioned 1960 Corvette Convertible in my favorite color yellow with a black rag top. It was a steal, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford the steering wheel!

About me: My full name is Abigail Christine Knight. I'm twenty-seven, and I own a little flower shop named Bloomers (okay, actually I own the mortgage on the shop.) I wanted to be a lawyer, but after flunking out of law school I decided to return to my roots, so to speak, to do what I love best - arranging flowers -- except that I have a habit of snooping, a strong sense of justice, and a hatred of bullies. So I kind of fall into these situations where I have to find a murderer or two. My parents aren't so happy about that. I have two older brothers, Jonathan and Jordan, who are doctors, whose wives love to rub in their success. But I don't mind being the black sheep. For a feisty redhead, it's kind of a rule.
I have a boyfriend named Marco Salvare, an ex-Army Ranger and ex-cop who owns the Down the Hatch Bar and Grill two shops down from Bloomers. He is hunk-a-licsious dreamy, ruggedly good looking, with olive skin, dark hair, chocolate brown eyes, and a mouth that turns up at the corners when he's amused. He's kind of a mystery, actually, and happy being a bachelor, which is okay with me right now, since I'm struggling to make a go of my flower shop. But I'm hoping our relationship heats up big time in the future.
My next adventure/mystery, SLEEPING WITH ANEMONE, will be out February 2, 2010. Watch for it. Surprises ahead!

Your writing style is so fresh and enjoyable and has made me laugh out loud several times already and I just starting reading it! I will definitely be buying the rest of the series. As always, your insight is spot on. (Did I just sound like Grace or what?) Yes, I sometimes wonder, how on Earth am I related to these people? I guess I just feel like we share the same gene pool so why are we not exactly the same. I guess the simple answer is, just because we're not, and how boring would that be.
Uhm Abby, I want to give you a small tip...Violets! Now, I know every man is different, but I've known some men that go CRAZY over the scent of violets. You should just pick up some violet scented lotion and see where things go from there.
The newest adventure is sensational. I read it shortly after it came out, and meant to tell you how much I loved it, but I've been a bit busy trying to save the FL schools. Going to a school board meeting tomorrow night and I'm giving them a piece of my mind...going to channel a little Abby tenacity.
