Abimaro & The Free are an exciting new act, creating music with a young and poetic slant. Taking their inspiration from genres such as folk, they confront issues to do with image and identity, and are set on making their voice heard, commenting on all that surrounds them and showing how life inspires art. A trio of bass, keys and vocals, their sound has been described as a 'soulful folk blend, beaming with beautiful melodies and smooth vocals. Esperanza Spalding meets Joni Mitchell'. (Soulbounce.com)
