A little less than 3 year's ago, precisely during the second day of the Labin punk festival ''everything is disco, but punk is more fun'' 2005, Abraksas was formed. The original intent of playing old school black metal was soon flushed with the musical improvement of the band members and Abraksas starts playing their own mix of melodic black and death metal. At the moment the band has 15 performances behind them, mostly around Pula,Zagreb,Labin and Rijeka. In the end of 2006,the Rytm guitarist David Tencic is leaving the band and is soon to be replaced with bands old friend Marino Sergo. Soon after that the band recorded their first EP: "Beyond the Shadows of Dreams” that contains the songs: “Calling the End” and “A Dance OF Shadows”.
In the summer of 2007, after the gig with Negura Bunget Marino is also leaving the band cause of his business obligations, that is, leak of time… And for a few months abraksas is again in search for a rytm guitarist. Then Cash for a short period takes that place. But that didn’t work, so we went in different direction…
Almost a year has passed and the band was on ice, when David returned in Abraksas. And now reunited we stand strong again, working on new material and rehearsing the old one…
The member’s of abraksas are: Leon - vox, Deni - solo Guitar, David - Rytm Guitar, Marko - Bass and Davor - Drums.
